Respiratory care professions are credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and lincesed by the State Composite Board of Medical Examiners

Opportunities

As a credentialed Respiratory Care Provider you will be able to choose from a variety of career options including: emergency room/intensive care specialist, pediatric/neonatal specialist, pulmonary function technology, cardiovascular diagnostics, or hyperbaric and sleep medicine. With additional education and clinical experience graduates may be accepted into Physican Assistant programs, perfusionist programs, or medical school. Research/development and sales are also potential career routes.
